PVM Trust believes that sustainable development lies not only in availing facilities to the present generation, but also in preparing the next generation for life.

A. Education:
1. Moral Education:

PVM Trust organized  moral education programme for school students any for youth in Ramanathapuram. To build a disciplined society
Total camps organized : 12
Total participants: 1086

2. Environmental Education:

Environmental education is an approach to learning not a subject of study. It is through this process that individual and the community gain awareness of their environment and acquire knowledge, skills, experience and the determination to act individual and collectively to solve the environmental problems. PVM Trust organizing awareness education programme.

                        Total participants                  : 986

3. Vocational Education:

PVM Trust organized vocational education programme in seven villages. Totally 356 Men & Women participations .

4. Non-Formal Education:

PVM Trust running four non formal education centres in four villages. 152 persons regularly attending.

B. Community Empowerment

Community organization PVM Trust Organized 18 Programmes in eight village Totally 1412 people benefited.

C. Economic Development

1. Formation, Promotion of Women &  
     Men Self Help Group.

Trust for men 123 women self help group and totally 2311 women enrolled as members.

The objectives of the programme, focused on poor and disadvantaged women are

  1. Social Empowerment
  2. Economic Empowerment
  3. Capacity Building
  4. Better Communication skills
  5. Better leadership skills
  6. Self-help & mutual help
  7. l help

Such empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged women would lead to overall improvement that accrue directly to the individual woman and women’s groups and through ripple-effect benefiting the other poor families in the neighbour- hood the community and village as a whole, in the long term.  

2. Enterprementship development:

Enterprementship development is most necessary for every individual. Small effort for big achievements. Enterprementship for the betterment life. It helps to make self-reliant and commercial minded people. It also helps growing more sustainable economic advantages, which is an important part of social development. PVM Trust organized 12 EDP training programmes and Totally 352 women benefited.
